Is NINNOX a medical device?
No. NINNOX is designed only for general wellness routines. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, prevent, screen for, or monitor any disease or medical condition.
Where should I wear it?
The active module is designed to sit flat against the inside of the wrist on clean, dry skin. Adjust the band until it feels secure and comfortable, not restrictive.
What are the two red openings?
They are two dedicated wrist-side light apertures. The visible product imagery explains the hardware layout; final session parameters will be provided with the production product.
What does the optical sensor do?
The optical sensor supports contextual information for the general wellness app experience. It does not produce medical measurements and should not guide healthcare decisions.
Can I remove the core from the band?
Yes. The active core slides out of the textile carrier so you can change bands or care for the fabric more easily.
How do I clean the band?
Remove the active core first. Follow the care instructions supplied with the final product, allow the textile band to dry fully, and never immerse the active core unless the final product guide explicitly permits it.
Will there be an app?
The planned app experience focuses on sessions, routines, and personal wellness context. All screens shown on this site are illustrative until the production app is released.
Can I use NINNOX with my current smartwatch?
Yes—for physical co-wearing. NINNOX is designed to complement rather than replace a smartwatch. Digital data compatibility varies by platform, region, model, and software version.
Do I need to replace my watch?
No. Keep using the watch and ecosystem you already know. NINNOX adds a dedicated screen-free wrist-side light and sensing experience.
Can both devices be worn on the same wrist?
Yes, with a compatible band arrangement: the smartwatch sits on top of the wrist and NINNOX sits at the side or underside. You can also wear them independently.
Which data platforms are supported?
Exact platform availability will be published with the production app. Supported, user-authorized watch and wellness data connections are being expanded continuously, with availability varying by platform, region, model, and software version.
